I AM SO AFRAID OF THIS CAMERA!
I’ve held it in my lap for a few minutes, I put the battery in and the card in and, of course, this nifty EF lens and now… now I don’t know what to do!!!! I am freaking out! I don’t want to hurt it, I don’t want to do anything wrong that would break it. I know myself and I know how clutzy I am… I’m so afraid that within two minutes I’m going to scratch the lens. I did that with my VW Golf. Brand newish, shiny. Drove it to work. Backed into the piling that served as a parking space. Bumper dinked and scratched. I shouldn’t have nice things.
lol, i know what you mean. My family’s pretty much the same way all through it. I’m not because I figure wear and tear is part of loving whatever you’ve got. Good luck with the camera though ^^
I completly understand what you mean! But you could see it the other way round and relax: the camera wants to see a lot of the world, therefor it gets scratches (like crinkles and grey hair). Everybody can drive a Golf, but only your’s has that cool scratch! *grin*
[Says someone who is overprotective regarding her DSLR and her car. Don't take me too serious.]
apparently, canons are very durable. i’m itching to switch from nikon…i heard that canon produces cleaner images with less grain…why didn’t anyone tell me that before? grrr..
