Pathetic is the new black

I encourage everyone to rock some pathetic this season, as it is the new power color of fall. I put my pathetic on, as you can see in the previous post and would you believe it? Credit Unions have heart. They have heart and I would like to point out that the Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union is a place that employs people who are empowered to make decisions like reversal of overdraft fees on their own and in response to sad pathetic fools like myself. In a time when I could really use help (which is really REALLY hard for me to ask for), hvfcu threw me a rope of hope. They have now convinced me that the world isn’t full of only thoughtless imbeciles and drunk girlfriends - NO! It also comprised big hearted people in front of a computer that with a keystroke can enable me to purchase groceries and even possibly a vaccuum bag for the little blue turtle we use to clean this place.
I went from being completely sweaty with money panic and distraught depression this morning to happy elation and confidence in positive thinking and most importantly, the goodness and logic of people.
