I always say “oh, I’ll just post that tomorrow” — but hold on just a hootentooten minute! THAT is the antithesis of blogging. It’s the here and now, not the there and later! So, before I go to my pal Harvey’s in Brooklyn tonight, I am going to blog the dinner I made tonight for Factor and I. I made sweet and spicy shrimp — and per serving, it’s less than 10g fat and somethin somethin calories.
I’ll post the recipe tomorrow.. too much to type
Take what you can get people!
green onions substituted for shallots.. still good!

in the pan with you!

garlic, diced tomatoes, honey, and rice vinegar simmering and smelling phenominally yum

the skrimps take a swim

almost done, waiting for the vermicelli

done!

And that’s it! Now I have to find something to wear tonight. Since I just ate snowman cookies, i think I’ll be wearing something loose fitting and comfy.
“I always say “oh, I’ll just post that tomorrow” … and then you tell us you’ll post the recipe tomorrow!? Oh, I am putting in your skinny, little hands.
Hungry for more! Looking forward to the next cooking-with-smack installment!
I’m totally guilty of that “I’ll just post that tomorrow”. And then I always forget… or too much stuff has happened and I can’t figure out what I should talk about. Oy, the pressure.
Look at you, all rocking the Rachel Ray! Good job, most impressive!
Although, I couldn’t help but notice the judgmental look Honey Bear was scoping you out with.
Looked pretty damn good though, good job!
And hey, I’m a fat man, I know good food when I see it!
Also – is that ginger or wasabe to the left of the onions in the first picture?
That’s a big fat ginger root. AND, I got the recipe from my Alli cookbook. factor said “I could eat this every day” — so it’s good!
ugh, i wish i wasn’t allergic to shrimp. you make it look soooooooo f-ing good. *drooling*
