I don’t know about you, but I get my photo nerd on and get to editing! I have put up my second batch of Puerto Rico photos on my Flickr (yo, Mrs.Twink, you on there yet?) while Factor is metaling/angry metaling out at the over priced Blender Theatre. I almost wanted to go with him, but because I got such a late start this morning (let’s not talk about it), I didn’t think I deserved to be out and about. Last night, by the way, we saw Avenged Sevenfold at Hammerstein. GREAT show. GREAT GREAT SHOW. They rocked out and got a nyc crowd to clap in unison and throw their fist all over the place, even at your granny. Pot heat wafted through the air and up our noses and the guys from A7X launched into alternating “rock god” poses. Their stage set up is so simple, yet so effective. They’re always larger than life and the insinuation is very godlike. It’s hot. Factor freaked me out because he hooted “hey, your boyfriend got a haircut!” and pointed. I was like “crap, now he looks like a normal person”. Later on in the show I said:

“wait, my boyfriend did NOT get his haircut, he’s right there” - me, gesturing at Zacky Vengeance. No, that isn’t his real name. And you’re kind of dorky for asking that.

“oh… I must have been talking about my boyfriend” - meaning Synyster Gates. Yes, that’s his god given name. No, der. Factor has man crushes on old school metal guys and he’s not shy about having some new metal guys he’s gay for.
