Watch your burps. and when they say to take a capsule with 8oz of water, don’t be stingy. I was just throwing mashed potatoes and turkeys at people on facebook when I felt a weird pressure in my throat. I had just taken my fiber and liver capsules and I hadn’t quite finished my glass of water, but I didn’t think anything much of it. So I let out a little burp, but it was sort of stuck.
So I kind of forced it out.
And into my mouth poured a puff of powder. Grainy, gritty, whatever was in the capsule powder filled my mouth. I started gulping my water fast and swirling it visciously around my cheeks to get the offending taste and feeling to disappear. I filled my glass with cranberry juice and water and gulped, gulped, gulped and still no relief. It was sticking to the back o fmy throat.
It has gotten better but now I’m wrestling with nausea. I have a pit in my stomach that keeps hitching and warbling. I’m fighting the good fight because I do NOT want to honk up powder. I’m in the hurtin’ cooler right now.
Oh, thank you for the warning. I am totally one of the schmucks who is attracted to the packaging and want to try out this system. Put I will have a teaming pint of water nearby!
You bet! I still feel funky and it’s a good 2 hours later
holy crap! you burped powder? I would have given up on the cleanse at that point! Does this mean you might fart powder too?
sorry, i can’t stop thinking about you burping powder… since those 6 lemons i bought before PR are still sitting in my fridge, maybe i should attempt this one instead. nope, the powder burps aren’t even a drawback… ugh, i need to stop letting you influence me with these diets.
oh snap, i just saw that you’ve reached the 20,000 mark with hits… congrats!!!
holy moley moleman! That is freakin’ awesome!!!
i just got back from taking a walk, right after taking fiber pills, when i too burped the powder. it started gelling & i started choking, so i wanted to see if others have experienced the same thing. definitely not my finest moment
It is the worst feeling… because burps are so sacred… it’s like, if I burp, I want just air.. I don’t want an actual powdery solid to come up. And if it’s solid… I NEVER expect it to be powdery.
All herbs and medicines in capsules can cause this. It is best to drink some of the water first to ‘wet’ your esophagus (food/water tube) then take the capsule with the remaining water. I’ve had this happen so many times with geletin capsules filled with herbs and RX’s that are bitter. Without a really wet esophagus the gelatin sticks to the smooth skin and doesn’t disintegrate while the rest of the capsule does. This leaves a partially disintegrated capsule sitting there and the body signals a burp to try to move it and it literally blows the powdered herbs back into your mouth. So bitter and it takes continuous liquids to get it melted. Eventually it does but can take over an hour. Remember!!! drink at least half of the water first to help prevent it from happening.
OMG! I’m planning on starting this cleanse…glad I read about the burps!! And here I was worried about having major bowel movements during work hours! How are those, btw? I can handle the choking and powdery burps….but the pooh concerns me.
Well Veener. To tell the truth, the toilet situation was totally lackluster. Not a thing to be concerned about. Like.. disappointing.
No good poo, huh? Was it worth it? I looked a the label briefly, but put it back…wasn’t mentally ready, I guess. How long is the cleanse? Just water and fiber/liver capsules or can you add juices?
Really? When I think cleanse, I think numerous trips to the bathroom! Ok, well that’s kinda good I guess. But Aero33 I understand the disappointment. LOL I can’t believe I’m discussing pooh with strangers. Awesome.
totally not worth it kids. It must be too many organic things or something. Plus, I kid you not, you feel like grandpa Stanley who has to take 80 pills a day so he doesn’t crap himself in public. It was so not worth it. And PS, I love talking about poop with strangers.
Ok, Day 3 and so far so good. No funky powdery burps…no crazy bowel movements. I don’t really feel any “cleaner”…the only difference is I’m drinking a ton of water.
Yeah — i was way thirsty when I did that. You’re cracking me up that you’re updating us
Yeah, I thought you guys would appreciate a play by play. LOL Day 10, this cleanse is lame. I’ve come too far to quit, but I’m so over it. I love my Trader Joe’s, but this cleanse isn’t really worth it. Unless you’re a fan of pill popping and being gassy.
Hey all! Started the TJ 14 day cleanse and am now on day 4. Not experiencing powder burps – but your story made me crack up Smack!
So far my experience has been lots of thirst, a feeling of tightness in throat – could be a gelatin pod stuck in there after all ;0) And today woke up with diarrhea – not like sick sick type of diarrhea, but a more gentle release, if that makes any sense. (I love discussing poo with strangers and loved ones!)
I will admit that I did not “prepare” myself for the cleanse so much with light foods and a juice fast or anything, but I eat really healthfully regardless.
I would love to hear more about what has been happening for other people in their cleanses. Love and Light!
OK, I have to stick up for the cleanse here! I’ve done a few, and find this one to be much more convenient than most (which make you take a cocktail of pills at varying times of the day and night). If you really stick to the water thing, the biological “fun times” you guys are having should subside. Plus, if you combine with a strict diet (no alcohol or caffeine, no sugar or meat, only whole grain/non-fat dairy/lean protien/fruits & veggies/herbal tea) you will probably feel great after a week or so. The first few days can be a little rough, but by week two I am sleeping great and feeling very light and clear. Happy cleansing!
Yeah, my diet sucks. If I were to adhere to a “strict diet” I probably wouldn’t need this cleanse. LOL
I am on day 2 of this cleanse and am a little confused. My box just had pills in it. I have no info on proper diet and what to eat or not eat?? Any advice?
Oh I am in my 3rd day of cleanse and I have been burping the entire pills!!!!!………..I might be ignorant in this matter, but it is my first cleanse and I didn’t know I had to have a special diet!!!!!! I just had pasta with alfredo sauce an chicken brats!!!!!! I feel like a retard…………was I suppossed to know about the diet?? Need help please!!!!!
so- i just bought this cleanse. I’ve never done a cleanse before….. like many of you have already said. I bought it because it was cheap, and i trust trader joe’s. buuuut, sounds like it’s not so fun. i was also kinda frustrated about not having a ‘daily’ sort of guide… like what you should be eating/drinking. i think that can make a HUGE difference! i saved the receipt. should i return it? and just fork out some extra money for a better one?
let me know!
yeah, aside from the packaging, there wasn’t anything too useful with this stuff. It was just bottles, and no guide. I would return it — Joe’s is so great with not asking why you return something. I think the only cleanses that really work are probably prescribed by doctors. However, a lonnnnnnnnng time ago I got a diet out of Women’s Day or something like that and it had a lot to do with Metamucil and hot lemon water – and still a good amount of food. I’ll have to try and find that…
Damn, wish I saw this before I bought it. So can I still eat while I’m doing the cleanse? I eat pretty healthy anyways but I thought when you do a cleanse you don’t eat.
I just bought this, and will begin taking tonight. I guess I should have done a search before, but it was an impulse purchase. It is inexpensive, and i enjoy other TJ products so I thought, “what the heck”. I dont know about the whole diet thing, especially no caffeine. I couldn’t function without. As others said here, the directions on the box and bottles inside is pretty sparse. I guess you take all at once, eh. Will pose again with my experience. Cheers!!
I am on day 5 of the TJoe’s cleanse… I have had the burping experience! Drinking tons of water does help.
I feel like complete crap, honestly. I wasn’t expecting that. I barely got through work today. My energy is really, really low. Is this all the toxins being released??
The BMs aren’t that impressive… I thought with 8 fiber pills a day I’d be going more. I have issues with that, anyway, but I thought for sure it would help move things along.
Has anyone finished the cleanse? I am really curious about that. I’ll post again once I’m done- only 9 days to go!
I’m on day 5 and feeling like crap! I “hope” it’s the cleanse and I’m not just coming down with something. I’ve had headache off and on and sometimes coughing up phlegm. Sounds more like an upper respiratory thing, right? Who knows, maybe I’m releasing toxins. I hope that’s it. Anybody else feeling kinda gross?
I bought this product and didn’t even know if I needed it, but a clerk in another vitamin store had recommended a cleanse, even though I hadn’t asked about one. I never considered it because I already “go” two or three times per day.
Anyway, since it was on my mind and I was in TJs, I picked it up and took it home. Thought maybe the liver & digestive part might be worthwhile.
Days 1-5 I felt fine. Today is Day 6 and I have a lot of gas, crampy, passing a lot of fluid with the “poo” and feel diarrhea-ish.
Not continuing with this. My diet is very healthy, 99% vegetarian, no packaged or junk food. If I ever decide on another cleanse, I’ll go with the one the clerk in the other store tried to sell me. It is “The Cleaner” and only takes 7 days of one kind of small capsule for a few dollars more than this one.
Oh, the large uncoated pills (digestive formula) are awful to swallow, IMO. I got one stuck at night and it was still in my esophagus the next morning. No powder burbs with the other pills, but I have had that will other supplements.
Good luck to the rest of you!!!
I havent done the Trader Joes cleanse yet because they’ve never had it at ours before. My brother just bought it. The packaging and whole systems seemed eerily identical to the Enzymatic brand “Whole Body Cleanse” that we do ever 6 months ( I just started mine yesterday) and sure enough we got home 20 mins ago and compared the packaging, statments and ingredients and its almost identical. So I am online trying to find out if the Trader Joes one is made by Enzymatic.
But I LOVE the Enzymatic cleanse. Ive done several different cleanses and have to say that it is the best Ive done. Honestly the first week you wont notice too much of a difference but the 2nd week you will notice things are different. I like it too because I dont feel the instant urge to run to the bathroom like I have with other brandes. And it doesnt make my stomach all upset like others have or give me horrible gas like others have.
So give it a shot and Im pretty sure the TJ’s one is the same as my favorite “Whole Body Cleanse” by Enzymatic and its half te price!!!!
I have done similar cleanses but I am trying the TJ one because it is less expensive. Here are the Do’s and Don’t from another similar cleanse:
Dos and Don’ts
“Do” focus on healthy habits… “Don’t” forget!
Do Drink the Water! It’s really important to drink at least 64 ounces of bottled or filtered water every day.
Don’t eat refined flour, sugar, saturated fats, artificial sweeteners, white potatoes and highly processed foods.
Do eliminate caffeine and alcohol. If you’re a heavy caffeine user, you may need to slowly cut back your intake to avoid withdrawal symptoms like headaches and fatigue. First cut your intake in half for a week. Then switch to green tea for a few days and slowly taper off it.
Don’t be hungry! Plan on eating regular meals along with healthy snacks. Some tasty choices: Almond butter on celery sticks and hummus with carrot sticks. Enjoy our delicious recipes.
Do avoid: beef, pork, cold cuts, sausage, bacon, hot dogs, shellfish, soy products, peanuts, refined oils, margarine or shortening.
Do eat less dairy, wheat and soy products. Cleansing works best when these items are kept to a minimum.
Don’t do vigorous exercise while cleansing. Your body needs time to rest and rebuild while you are detoxifying. Gentle stretching, short walks in the fresh air and yoga are all good choices.
Do try deep breathing and meditation to increase the effectiveness of detoxification. Meditation is the practice and process of paying attention and focusing your awareness. While it can be quite simple, it can also lead to deeper understanding of personal abilities as well as the world at large. Regular practice of meditation can reduce stress, lower blood pressure readings and cholesterol levels. It can also increase personal empathy and enhance creativity.
Do expect some changes in your bowel movements when cleansing. They may be more frequent, larger and easier to pass. If you have increased your water or fluid intake, you should also notice an increase in your urine output. Your stools may also look different than how they normally appear. They may have a different color and consistency. However, if you develop cramping or diarrhea, simply reduce the dose of the Laxative Formula†. If these problems persist, are painful or are disruptive, you should consider discontinuing its use.
Don’t tell yourself you’ll do it later. Make this the day you quit smoking and don’t abuse drugs. In other words, eliminate the negative.
Do maintain your optimum weight. Both overweight and yoyo weight loss create excess stress and strain on the body. It’s best to get it right and stay there.
Do explore various ways to manage stress until you find what works for you. According to Abe Lincoln, “Most people are just about as happy as they make up their minds to be.” Create a balanced life that works. And, make up your mind to be happy.
Do buy organic fruits and vegetables if you can. If you can’t, wash all produce with cold, drinkable water. Buy fresh veggies and fruits in season when storage and fewer pesticides are used.
Do learn more about how to detoxify with Whole Body Cleanse† internal cleansing system and the excellent family of cleansing products from Enzymatic Therapy®!
WORTH MENTIONING: It’s okay to cheat. An occasional slip-up in your diet isn’t going to completely ruin your efforts. Just don’t stop cleansing! Remember that your decision to cleanse is about helping rediscover a whole new you. We have a feeling that once you experience the true meaning of clean, you’ll want to stay that way.
hi. isn’t it necessary to notice timing with the evening pills?
if i take the psyllium at same time or close in time to other evening pills, won’t it absorb liver/digestive pill ingredients and cause loss of benefit as body won’t actually be getting them?
thx.
I’m on day 12, and I’m feeling great. I haven’t been overly gassy, haven’t burped up powder, haven’t had any “explosions,” and am pretty satisfied with the cleanse. Also, I’ve lost a few pounds! My BMs have increased, but that’s the point. I’ve never had a moment when I was in public and couldn’t get to the bathroom in time. It’s all good so far. Just wanted to share some positivity on the product.
Thank you for the positive feedback. When I hear stories like some of these posted my first thought is “what have they done wrong”, but the one thing I do agree with is that there is no pamphlet giving any basic instructions.
I have always drank lots of water so 64oz a day is normal for me. I did a two day juice and was going to do the Renew 7 day cleanse but found TJ’s instead. So today is my first day my plan is too juice all day and eat meal early evening (now lol) and do the TJ 14day cleanse. It just sounds so much more less invasive than 7 days. I am use to 2 bowels movements a day so I thought 14 days would be better for me. Wish me luck:-)
Im starting the trader joes complete body cleanse today. My main goal is to rid myself of bad smelling gas at the end of this treatment. Ill let u guys know whats up
I’m on day 9. My finicky stomach reacted the first day I started. The first week I had MAJOR gas. I mean the good lingering stuff that almost makes you stop drop and roll.
I almost didn’t continue but now I’m starting to feel better with the gas subsiding very much. The slams are much more regular now. I’ve learned to eat a slice of bread after taking the pills. It seems the digestive pill likes to reverse course after taking it at bedtime and lying down.
I’m on day 5. Found this site because I’ve been thinking, am I still supposed to be eating during this? I’ve read about other cleanses where that’s all you eat or drink during the process. With this one, there was nothing to say that I SHOULDN’T be eating, so I have been. Then I wonder if I’m really “detoxing” since I’m continuing to put toxins in my body. However, I have cut alcohol and refined sugars (which is really hard – in our office we received 3 5lb boxes of See’s candy last week!!!), carbs and am actually doing South Beach at the same time. I eat lots of veggies and some meats (chicken and turkey) and cheese. I’m curious why dairy shouldn’t be consumed during a cleanse? I’m a little ignorant of the body mechanics of it all.
And… THANK GOODNESS no powder burps. I think I’d throw up. The fiber pills don’t taste very good and trying to down 8 pills at night (4 fiber and 4 of the others) is challenging. With this and the South Beach though, I’ve lost a few pounds since I started and that’s what I’m looking for. Poops have been fine. Mainly just one a day in the morning (so far anyway).
hey all. i bought this TJ cleansing product today and will start tomorrow!!! I don’t think you need to use only those pills and no other food, that would be not right. Just regural light diet (no red meet, potatos, alcohol, sugars) will do fine. cause, personally, im not a fan of pill pooping ))))
I am on day 4 of the TJ Cleanse. I have headaches. I have maintained drinking one cup of coffee in the morning, because it would be brutal otherwise. I haven’t noticed a whole big change in anything. What kind of change should I notice? My weight has dropped a few pounds because I am eating only fruit/veggies and brown rice.
I am thinking about doing the cleanse. I think I’ll run out and get it today.
I started TJ’s “complete body cleanse”, last night…this morning, have a good BM! which i was surprised, how good. i got the cleanse last night, and bought it because i had been eating fried crap and tons of meat and alcohol all weekend, while on vacation, which caused bloating and 4lbs weight gain:( I also got the cleanse because it was so cheap and i love TJ’s products! the pills did feel stuck last night, and then just drank more water…i think the more days go on, it might be harder to continue to take SO MANY pills at night! but hopefully, i will get to day 14 with no problems:) was a little disappointed that there was no information inside box, for pills or diet plan for 14 days…but staying away from bread, fried foods, sugar, red meat and chicken, and alcohol, which always make me feel better…hopefully will update with good news…
HELLO EVERYONE! DOES THE CLEANSER MAKE YOU LOOSE WEIGHT AT ALL?? WHAT IS THE MOST OR AVERAGE ANYONE HAS LOST IN THE 14 DAYS?
I just ourchased the TJ’s cleanse and I am doing the first week of it in conjunction with the cabbage soup diet, which also cleanses out your system. I figure both combined, cutting out alcohol and sugars should lead me in the right direction. After the Cabbage soup week is done, i intend to stick to friuts, veggies, brown rice and a protien shake. If anyone has any advice on the diet part, I would love to hear it! Please let me know also if you lost any weight on this cleanse! Thanks so much!
Hi-hoping for some help here. I’m on day 2 of the cleanse and feel like I’m getting a cold. I’m sniffly and simply exhausted. Not to mention, I did cut out caffine to aid w/ the cleanse. In any case…has anyone experienced this? I’m going to give this the good ol’ college try, but want to know what else people are experiening. Oh, and no burps or serious BM’s yet.
I saw your post about the TJ cleanse. Im on day 10, feel awful and developed the worst sinus infection I ever had. I getthem often, but not this bad. I feel like my head is in a fog, achy, and feel just terrible. could this be that I am highty toxic and the toxins are leaving my body?
I too was very dissapointed that there were no instructions in the kit. Seems alittle odd.
powder burps don’t sound like fun.
I’m on day two and it’s at least been very encouraging for me to cut back on drinking. But I’ve been sleeping about 10 hours both nights since I’ve started! I certainly feel refreshed in the morning, but it’s just such a suprise to wake up 2 hours later than you expect. I’ve also noticed, like others, that I’m starting to get the sniffles so I am curious whether or not these symptoms are cleanse related or something else. No powder burps here tho. I do drink a lot of hot liquids like tea so that might have something to do with it.
I’m back. I’m on day 7, so there’s no stopping me at this point. I got this far, so might as well finish to the end. So, the sniffles continued and I even had a very very sore throat for a few days. I started taking a multi-vitamin at night and taking Emergen-CEE to fight off whatever was ailing me. Some days are good….some days not so good. I haven’t noticed any weight loss (that was not my motivation though), I’ve been drinking lots of H2O, BM’s are softer than usual, and I do feel a littler gassy at times. There are however moments that I feel light and contribute that to the cleanse. I cut out alcohol (so hard on Superbowl Sunday) and red meat along with fried foods. 7 days to go!
**Word to the wise**On day 9 I forgot to take the pills in the morning and by the time I took them at night…. boy did I pay the price! Let’s just say I’m literally 2 pounds lighter today.
HI, I bought the cleanse from TJ, after failing the master cleanse in 2 hours. lol I am on day 6. I never had the powder burps, you just have to wet your throat before swallowing. Make sure you drink all the water. My poohing has been tremendous!
I am going to get graphic here folks. warning dont read if you dont like talking about poop.
At first its been like green seaweed mush. Now its bright orange and yellow mush. Sorry to be so detailed but seriously I think you guys want to know right? I had stopped caffiene in December. I am still pretty much eating the same. I think its well worth the price. I would cut the big horse pellets in half.
Good Luck everyone!
I’ve been doing this cleanse for two years and the experience has been a really good one! Yep, you’re likely to poop funny for a while! Let’s face it…. we don’t live in a healthy environment so our bodies collect A LOT of Crap (no pun intended…LOL!!!!)
I usually do the TJs complete body cleanse during the Lent season. That is when I give up all sweets (cake, cookies, pies, candy, etc.) I normally drink plenty but I drink a TON when I’m using the cleanse. You have to flush out your system.
Hang in there guys and gals!!! It’s worth the ride!
(LOL…. Tara…. I had the same “colors” you did! I didn’t know whether I should laugh or cry!
!!!)
Just bought the cleanse today from TJ’s and figured I would give it a shot. Never done a cleanse before and thought its time. Took the fiber pills this morning and by evening ofcourse it took effect. I just powered down the rest of the night pills.
Lets see what happens tomorrow. Day 2 should be interesting.
Hi, I’m so glad I found this site and reading everyone’s comments about the cleanse! I’m on day 3 and feel a little more “regular” than I have been usually. No more than the usual gas, no running to the bathroom in fear of not making it on time, but I am trying to drink more water than usual! No weird colors either…. yet! I can’t give up my caffiene though, or else I’ll get horrible headaches. I was severely disappointed there was no menu plan/instructions, etc. anything inside the box. But I’m going to follow this sucker through to the end! I’ll keep coming back to this site to check up on everyone else’s progress and post updates on my own. I feel like I’ve just got all this STUFF in my body, poisioning me and I really want it flushed out!! Good luck to all!
I am on day 4 of cleanse and the first two days was feeling great. i have also gotten a cold and sore throat! And now I have not seen a BM in two days. I even took Smooth Move Tea last night and nothing. Perhaps I am not drinking enough water…
any suggestions?
I figured I’d post because I’m on Day 10 of the TJ cleanse and I didn’t see too many others posting that far into it.
I haven’t had any burping issues thank god, but I did have pretty consistent headaches through the first 8 days. As a previous poster advised, I cut out coffee, refined sugar and alcohol (except for couple beers on day 1) and the headaches may have been caffeine withdrawal (I tend to have one espresso drink a day). I have been having one cup of black tea a day for day 9 and 10 and that has helped with the headaches.
Other things I’ve noticed:
1) Greatly decreased appetite! I’ve probably cut down my caloric consumption by 30-40%.
2) Have no desire for spicy or salty foods at all. Just want bland, bland, bland.
3) Have been going to sleep earlier and waking up earlier than usual.
4) BM’s diminished a bit in week 1 but have come back to pretty near normal here in the second week.
Good luck everyone!
One more important thing that I forgot to mention!
5) I have been *irritable*! And I don’t mean irritable bowl syndrome. I mean I’ve been on edge, cranky, short fuse, etc. Part of it is to be expected — I gave up caffeine for this, also sugar, which used to provide a bit of pick me up through the day. I’ve also cut down my caloric intake so I’ve been hungry.
But I think it’s more than that. I’m on Day 11 and I feel like a lot of those effects would have moderated by now. I have the feeling that to the extent that toxins are being released into your bloodstream before they are flushed out, they really do manifest themselves as emotions — anger and judgmental reactions and a short temper.
If you notice yourself having these feelings, be sure to remind your loved ones that it is not them — it is the cleanse!!
Thanks to all of you for posting on this Cleanse. I just began today, and like many of you have mentioned, had no idea what to expect or eat due to the scarcity of information in the package.
I scoured the web for other cleanses, and saw some startling pics of extraterrestial looking things which had come out of folks. Thanks, Tara, for the detailed “pooh” description. Helps to know what to expect.
Jennifer, When you say you have been taking the cleanse for two years, do you mean ongoing (no break) or two years consecutively?
Jennifer G., like you, I would not be able to function right now without my french press coffee in the morning, so I am going to cleanse-caffeinated!!!
This is very helpful. Thanks for all the posting. Especially the info on keeping the esophagus moist, I already felt a stick in my throat when I began this morning, and your suggestions will be very helpful!
Ann
I’m on day 5 and lost 5 pounds. Hubby is too ,not watching what he is eating. He’s expecting to drop weight yeah right. I have been on heavy meds from an accident. So I wanted to really cleanse my body…..
Seven pounds now….feeling so much better….it was also suggested that I try Acai berries along with it
If you have trouble swallowing the capsules, just drink warm water along with them. I had supplements get stuck and not want to go down, and the warm water did the trick. Never burped powder, lucky me!
I just started the “Whole Body Cleanse” Enzymatic Therapy– Anyone else try it? I’m curious how well it’ll clean the system. I keep hearing Dr. Natura’s cleanse really cleans the pipes! Check out the photos EWWWWEEEEEEEEE!!
Hopefully I will get the same results with this cleanse.
Starting the cleanse today. Not sure if anyone still reads this post, but does anyone have advice on exercising? Can I still run on treadmill, etc. or is that a big no-no? Thanks!
I’ve been on the cleanse for three days and have gotten headaches daily. Has anyone else experienced this?
Im on day 10 of the cleanse and feel just awful. I have had the colored poops too. I feel so much lighter when that happens. But I feel like my head is in a fog. I also developed a bad sinus infection and coughing up hard green phlegm. Could this be the toxins leaving.
I just started this morning and since there was nothing in the box, I googled “Trader Joes Cleanse” and found you all. I feel so close to you after reading about your poops! Anyway, I am much more nervous than I was before I started – my friend had done it and said it was “no big deal.” My main question is, for those who have successfully completed it, how were you after? Did the good and bad effects go away? Thanks!
I’m on day 2 of TJ’s Complete Body Cleanse. So far, so good, I think! One pretty massive BM this morning (started the pills last night), which was such a relief because I was quite constipated before starting. I had one initial (kinda small and sticky) BM in the AM, then got up for about 10 minutes when I realized that I was definitely NOT done. I had a quick (but fairly large and loose) BM that was really pretty impressive. My belly pain from constipation was definitely relieved, too.
Today, my appetite has been pretty small. Drinking lots of water, but have a bit of an achy, kinda fatigued feeling. Nothing bad, though. Not sure if this is “toxin-release” related or just coincidence. I was feeling fine for most of the day and even exercised (elliptical machine, 25 minutes, and power yoga).
Also, BTW, this cleanse is likely not to be done without some sort of reasonable food ingestion as the blend/pills have no other source of calories; other cleanses (like Master Cleanse) use maple syrup and other things to keep up caloric intake.
So, I’m almost done with this cleanse and I’d say that overall, it’s a good product. I’ve been drinking a ton more water and feel my BMs are very regular. I’m not really sure if I can see/feel the effects of the liver formula, but I took it anyway to use the product as intended. I’ll definitely do this again within a year if I’m starting to feel bloated and “backed up.” I probably lost a pound or two, which feels good. My appetite picked back up after maybe four or so days, but it’s not ravenous like it can be at times.
Overall, I’d say it’s effects are relatively mild. It doesn’t leave you needing the bathroom all day long, and, indeed, I’d say I feel pretty well-cleansed!
