Blogging: meant to create a new common ground, not a battle ground.
Kind of seems like a lot of people use it for the latter, not the former, huh?

Yes that is a shame. Do u think that people are just more drawn to confrontation than to peace and compromise?
I think that’s a great question for people to ask themselves as they print horrible gossip about fragile people or perhaps flame the hell out of a 14 year old for wearing something against the grain. Or maybe for flaming someones ideas.
Granted, I blather about inconsiderate idiots in Trader Joe’s, but i don’t publish photos of those people or try to find them online and personally attack them. It’s kind of funny how you’ll still find that “anonymous computering still gives me balls to say things I’d never say in person” attitude.
Its so strange to me how people have gotten so mean. Its like hiding behind an anonymous name or just the name “anonymous” gives them this crazy feeling of meanness.
I was reading comments on another blog and it was just a bunch of people personally attacking each other… OVER SELF-CHECKOUT lines. Or there’s that crazy story of the girl who committed suicide after a fake person on MySpace led her on and then cruelly dumped her.
Crazy.
oh no!!! that is so sad (the myspace one) — but a little odd. See, that’s the thing, I would yell at someone AT the self checkout line.
