Twitter is down for maintenance (boooooo , but I understand :)) and they put up this message:
Usually I think adorable little “hey, the monkey is loose”messages are sort of patronizing and not respectful of the fact that someone NEEDS that site (maybe, you never know). I mean, if my bank said “whoopsy, looks like the llama ate our server”, you can BET I’d do the unheard of and pick up the phone and give someone what’s what. What is what, anyway?
However, because my survival and GAPcard don’t require Twitter, I can smile at the outage and reflect on it’s baby blue and orange adorable whaleness and birdness. And it’s polite.
Without actually reading this post (I’m always drawn to pictures first), I assumed this was a t-shirt on Threadless.

HA, I just realized it didn’t copy the wording- but assume the copy captured that fact that upgrading and maintenance is a hefty job. and a cute one, apparently.
