Yay! home in NYC! Familiar smells, my happy couch, total insomnia, and fear of unemployment welcomed me as I departed the Port Authority. good times! The christmas holiday was a lot of fun. Lots of food, lots of Factors, and just a general feeling of family love. It’s always fun to have a few kids in the crowd otherwise Christmas anymore just feels like an excuse to buy someone something. Kids still get excited and it’s fun to watch them tear into gifts. I’m not a big fan of organized slow unwrapping, and neither were they – so it was just good fun all around. While in MD, I didn’t really touch the computer at all. I checked email sporadically and left the blog alone (hopefully NOT to die a slow death) – all but once, when I saw our favorite white girl hating “you don’t know struggle unless you’ve been kidnapped by the sudanese military” toe shoe-er. Yet another comment was left on a conversation I thought we’d pretty much closed. So that was fun too. And that’s ALL I’m going to say about that.
i have to clean this place and ten maybe I’ll get some pictures up. I have more to write, and boy do i have “the year that was 2007″ congealing in my brain. It’s going to be a doozy.
so happy you’re back
can’t wait to see factor christmas pics!
gads, I hope you aren’t disappointed. I took a few, but indoor low light photography isn’t so great.
