Holding my breath and waiting for the next post. Now ... if you do get to make a choice ... then you have a fun challenge ahead of you. I got a message from one company once that showed a dude on a dock looking into the bay, and a ship off in the distance, and it said something like, "Will you wait for your ship to come in, or will you swim out to meet it." It always struck me as a challenge ... a dare, you're not sure if a better ship will come along, so maybe it's best to swim to the nearest one. When it came time for them to make me an offer, I was so excited I just said 'OK!!' It took the exec pulling me aside and saying "You have to play the game" for me to step back. Remember, the best opportunity to negotiate is when you first hire on, so truly think about what you deserve for your salary, your grading in the company, stock options, and even vacation days. So as much as you'll want to jump up and down and say, "Hell yeah!" ... take a moment to put out there what you really want. You've got a whole world cheering you on!!!!

Not a bad problem to have.

Oh wait, you've heard that before ;-). Seriously, good luck. Hope they both work out.

It would be nice to be able to tell each of them "make me an offer I can't refuse", but there's probably a more professional way to say that without sounding high-and-mighty. If both positions are extremely tempting in their "current" descriptions, you might consider which one gives you more growth potential.
