You can always "buy time" by asking them when they would like to have your decision. You can let them know that you are enthusiastic about their offer and that you would like 24 or 48 hours or 3 days, or whatever you'd like to get back to them. Ask if they intend to send a formal offer letter or what they next step is regarding accepting their offer. It's isn't always as simple as shouting "YIPEE" ... when do I show up for work?
