twitter is dumb

for reals. I rebelled against it for so long. Even when the company I worked for tried to make an internal version I thought “why the heck would I blog, update status, and then write little tiny sentences for the world to see.” point being I did the other stuff — and i knew I wouldn’t read other peoples “tweets”. whatever, I caved and finally joined twitter. I did these things because I wanted to keep in touch and keep up with my old work pals (the ones I cared to anyway). However, and I know I know - things are beta we must be patient etc etc etc - but more often than not… I’d say over 80% of the times that I’ve come back to quickly fart something on twitter, it gives me a cutesy little wah wah wahhhhhhh message. In fact, just now.. never even loaded. Bite me, twitter.
I’m with you. It took me a while to get into blogging, but I could at least always kind of get why people did it. I don’t quite get twitter, though. Seems like it would take longer to sit down and log in than to post.
It’s funny because i think it’s odd to read my pals’ tweets… but I’d definitely take the time to read their cohesive possibly paragraphed thoughts.
