I think life is going the way it’s been meant for me and it all started with the new job. It’s like I had to go through all the other stuff on the way - all that noise was just me in transit, not me establishing nyc roots. But anyway, there are some fun things going down.
- Go to Otto’s shrunken head. You gotta. Get yourself a sorority girl scorpion bowl. No, it’s not called that, but you feel like a sorority girl about to get nailed later while you sip on that 3 foot long straw, staring into the flaming 151 shot in the center of the bowl. But before you get that, get yourself a $10.00 drink with a glow stick in it. We called it “stereotypical gay bar” but the actual name is “Pang’s Punch.” my intentions were one drink or two and then go home for some quality sleep. You see how that worked out.
- I joined the gym. I am officially a member of the NYSC and I can’t wait to start going. Finally I’m going to make good on at least one thing i promised myself I would do: learn how to box. I’m not talking kickboxing. I’m talking real, I-can-beat-you-with-my-bare-fists boxing. I’ll take pictures of my quickly growing guns, I promise.
- I only had two slices of pizza when I got home last night. Which means i can have some for breakfast.
- I am determined to hang freakin’ shelves and pictures today. With or without Factor.
Hey! I just told Conrad I’m going to join the NYSC — we should compare rates to see how screwed we each get
… Oh, and maybe some days we can work out together. Co-motivation?
… and glow sticks? Why wasn’t I there?
Hmm .. maybe I take back my offer
Reyes! The link is still not working, but it looks like I’ll have to show you when you come here for dinner! Um. Can we take a spin class tomorrow? I’m calling you within a 5 hour window to arrange. I mean it.
If you join the ymca, blue cross blue sheild pays for half your membership, maybe they do at your gym also, the only snag is you have to work out 8 times a month. Good luck on the workouts. I cant wait for warm weather!
Ok, whats the deal with the ymca in new york, do homeless people live there? Why would anyone stay at the ymca?
