Ah yes. it is so perfect today. grey low hanging clouds, can’t even see the clocktower thing. it keeps misting every once in a while and there is just a tiny humid breeze. The sun is peeking out juuuust a touch so that it’s not depressing, just soothing. This is my perfect day. Got up, watched some TV, had some breakfast with Factor, drank some green tea with mint (instead of coffee, trying to really bring consumption down – I haven’t had coffee since Thursday. Well, caffeine.. I probably had caffeine around 6PM on Thursday. Anyway! Cleaned a little, had some meat lunch and now I’m alone. Total silence, just the fan and the clouds knocking on the roof. Factor went to a big family reunion and left me home to detox and I could not appreciate it more if I tried. Now to settle on the couch and get to those rehearsal dinner pics that I said I would get to when I had the time in between the hell that was this past week – and now is that time. I’m thinking I might hit Pier 1 and turn our unused coffee table into a seat – like get some pillows and velcro and slap those suckers on there – and then hide the cut away air conditioner with that.
We’ll see, I’m awesome with best intentions. But you know what? I have no pressure this weekend, no deadlines for now, and I’ll just do whatever I want in whatever time frame I want. Now if only I could get this caffeine headache to stop throbbing. It’s dull, it’s right at the base of my neck like someone stole my stem cells too late… oh yeah, and it’s a bit at the temples. It will go away by tomorrow. It better.
Ahh, the caffeine withdrawal headache. I hate that thing with a passion. Mine last for days…
And what is “meat lunch”?
Factor and I ate at Hill Country for a congrats on the new jobby job dinner. It’s just loads of meat, in brown paper. so i had meat pieces for lunch the next day. Meat lunch.
I STILL have a headache.
Giving up coffee forever?! Let me know how that goes.
I only drink coffee in the mornings and it’s not much but I still just don’t feel the same if I miss my cup.
