Well, I forgot about, or was too busy to retain that I wanted to play with mtbrooks over at Penis In a Rowboat in SAPCC: Super Awesome Photo Club Challenge. Sounds fun right? I was excited to learn that last week’s subject was “water”. It had just rained and there is nothing like a rainy day in nyc. NOTHING. It’s soothing, it’s beautiful, and it puts a completely different costume on everything and everyone. Awesome. Alas, I didn’t post. So here’s what I would have posted. Only, I would have chosen one. I guess my tardiness at least affords me a multi-post!

i don’t know how you get these results without doing HDR. i love the depth you create and the range of shadows & highlights. these are just exquisite.

The empire state building shots do have a whiff of hdr. Quite a nice range.
